Our 4m bell tent is 4m in diameter and the height of the centre pole is 2.5m high. The entrance to the tent is 1.5m tall.
Our 5m bell tent is 5m in diameter and the height of the centre pole is 3m high. The entrance to the tent is 1.6m tall.
Our 6m bell tent is 6m in diameter and the height of the centre pole is 3m high. The entrance to the tent is 1.7m tall.
Our Emperor bell tent is 6m in length and 4m in width and the height of the centre poles are 3m high. The entrance to the tent is 1.7m tall.
A 4m bell tent can sleep up to 4 people or sit up to 8 people. If sleeping 4 people you will need to book 2 double mattresses. We can only fit up to 3 luxury adult size single mattresses in a 4m bell tent comfortably.
A 5m bell tent can sleep up to 6 people or sit up to 12 people. If sleeping 6 people you will need to book 3 double mattresses. We can only fit up to 5 luxury adult size single mattresses in a 5m bell tent comfortably.
A 6m bell tent can sleep up to 8 people or sit up to 16 people. If sleeping 8 people you will need to book 4 double mattresses. We can only fit up to 7 luxury adult size single mattresses in a 6m bell tent comfortably.
A 6m Emperor bell tent can sleep up to 12 people or sit up to 20 people. If sleeping 12 people you will need to book 6 double mattresses. We can only fit up to 11 luxury adult size single mattresses in a 6m Emperor bell tent comfortably.

Depending on what package you opt for, you may or may not need to bring your own bed. (Included in Silver/Gold packages)
To ensure a warm, cosy glamping experience, we recommend bringing the following with you: fitted sheet, duvet, pillows and a blanket or throw to keep you warm on chilly nights.
Whatever package you opt for, should you wish to travel light, South Coast Glamping can offer you a bedding pack. Simply ask us when booking, or call us on 07792 493 439 or 07792 851 447 to amend an existing booking.
Not as standard. Power can be added upon request for an additional charge.
All the bell tents come with a tea light chandelier that provides light. The chandelier is however fixed to the tent and can’t be removed. Therefore, we recommend you bring a torch to give you that extra bit of light at night.
No – all our tea lights are battery operated and will be supplied for the duration of your stay.
Yes. All our bell tents are top of the range deluxe bell tents meaning they have thick and durable ground sheets that are zipped in to the side of the tent. This ground sheet also has a 3 inch lip at the side to ensure there are no leaks if the tents are pitched on ground that does not drain easily.
All booked bell tents will be fully erected by 2pm on day of booking (unless otherwise arranged due to site access allowances).
Please ensure all of your belongings are removed from the tent by 12pm.
NB. If staying in a campsite, check out time will be an hour before the campsite check out time to provide our team enough time to take down the tent.
No. Unfortunately our insurance policy does not allow us to do this. We do however offer a kitchen essentials basket which includes a single burner camping stove for use outside of the bell tent.
Yes. South Coast Glamping do not get involved in pitch bookings. All bookings should be made direct with campsites. Simply tell South Coast Glamping where and when you need your bell tent(s) to be erected.
All campsites will have different tariffs/pitch sizes. Simply tell the campsite that you wish to pitch a bell tent (4m/5m/6m) and they will be able to tell you what size pitch to book.

Yes, however a £3.00 charge will be added to do so. When booking, a deposit will be required (amount to be confirmed at time of booking), with full payment expected 28 days before your event, plus a £100 damage deposit per tent booked. Please send two cheques: a cheque for the balance and; a cheque for your damage deposit, together with an accompanying note (stating your name, phone number and the date of your event). We will bank your payment and will process your booking once the cheque has cleared.

Yes. When booking, a deposit will be required (amount to be confirmed at time of booking), with full payment expected 28 days before your event, plus a £100 damage deposit per tent booked. Your balance can be paid by bank transfer, however damage deposits must be paid by cheque. Bank details can be found on your quote or invoice. Alternatively, please give us a call on 07792 493 439 or 07792 851 447 or email info@southcoastglamping.co.uk to request our bank details. Please state your full name and date for which you are booking.
No. Upon booking, a non-refundable deposit will be required and can be paid via bank transfer or cheque.
Once your booking has been processed you will receive a confirmation invoice by email.
After each bell tent hire, we check for damage. If there has been no malicious damage and all of the contents remain in the tent, we will refund your damage deposit within 10 working days.

We recommend that all customers with confirmed bookings take out insurance to cover costs in the event of cancellation due to bad weather. However, should this happen South Coast Glamping will happily offer you another date should ‘we’ cancel an event due to bad weather as per our Terms and Conditions. By accepting the Term’s & Conditions, customers are deemed to have accepted this.
