Becki Halls

Becki Halls |

Festival season is happening right now and we ourselves LOVE a good festival. Although we currently provide glamping as a chic and luxurious accommodation amongst smaller events, we still totally lust over all the cool festival glamping options out there.

So this week we wanted to deliver our top three fave festivals you must Glamp at in your lifetime! Because, let’s face it, although wellies and dancing in mud is a fun part of any festival, being able to sneak away to a bit of luxury, shower and sleep in an actual bed is deep down secretly every festival goers dream!

The Wilderness Festival  3 – 6 Aug 2017

(££)

The Wilderness Festival is renowned for being really quirky and embracing all things art and nature related. Staged in the heart of a nature reserve in Oxfordshire the festival organisers ethos is “Nomads and gastronomes. Rockers and roamers. Drifters and dreamers. The reclusive, the wise, the weird and the wild. Welcome. Step in and linger. We invite you on an escapade like no other”. Over the weekend there are many wonderful and unique activities, from a naked swim in the nature reserve lake to taking part at the chefs table hosted by celebrated cooks. But of course, there is also a mix of eclectic music and partying to enjoy.

To continue this unique festival vibe choosing the boutique campsite makes sense as it again is a break from the norm. The Boutique Campsite is an eclectic village of luxury accommodation options, lined with ancient oak trees. Choose between anything from Stilt Houses and traditional Tipis, to beautifully eccentric Gypsy Wagons, all with beds and bedding made ready for you. The Boutique Campsite is ideally situated a short walk from the arena, and the amenities include luxury toilets and showers, a dedicated bar and eatery, private parking (included with your accommodation booking) and toasty fire bowls to gather around. Doesn’t get better than that!

Kamp Kerala at Glastonbury

(£££)

Over the five days that the festival of contemporary performing arts runs, Glasto sees some epic acts take to the stage. This year that line up included Radiohead, The Foo Fighters and The XX. Alongside the main stages a variety of attractions wows the crowds each day, in fact all together Glastonbury Festival has over thirty different areas and stages making it the biggest festival around.

Which is why after a long day of partying, walking, dancing and taking in all the amazing hundreds of things to do, sneaking back into Camp Kerala Glastonbury’s Luxury Accommodation is the ultimate haven.

Renowned for its chilled out atmosphere, the camp offers a variety of things that appeal to different revellers – gourmet food, a boutique hotel vibe, cocktails and pure escapism.  It’s certainly a higher price ticket than most, but worth every penny we think!

Things that make Kamp Kerala a real sensation is the 24/7 logistics and “tent service” teams, a spa for treatments, cocktail mixologists for drinking morning, noon and night, the Kerala Cocoon for fancy dress. But the most stunning part is that on the hill overlooking the incredible sight of the Glastonbury fields you stay in a beautiful bespoke Shikar tent and have the best tickets to the festival. It really is the ultimate in glamping luxury!

Glastonbury will next be returning in 2019 as next year the festival will give the farm, the village and the festival team the traditional year off (which happens every 6 years).  But fear not, you can register for your tickets right now here: https://glastonbury.seetickets.com/Registration/Register and get in on the action for 2019!
